How to play Star Battle

The whole idea

Give each row, column and colored patch exactly one star. Stars cannot touch, even at a corner.

Start with the smallest patches. A patch with only one square gives you a star.

Auto × marks the spaces around a star. Switch it off if you prefer to make your own marks.

Everyone gets the same daily puzzle at midnight UTC. Your progress stays in this browser. Levels give you another board whenever you want one.
